In line with the government of Dubai’s progressive decision to recognise People of Determination, the charity known for 20 years as Riding for the Disabled recently underwent a name change. This provided us with the perfect opportunity to help out with a colourful new identity system for what is now The Equestrian Association for People of Determination. 

The new look perfectly reflects the friendly, welcoming character of this fantastic charity, which has helped hundreds of children achieve their full potential. Long may they continue.

Having first opened its doors in 1968, Dubai’s Interiors Furniture celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018, making it older even than the UAE. 

To mark Interiors’ golden year, and following a competitive pitch, we’ll be rolling out a multi-channel campaign over the next few months illustrating how furniture is sometimes more than just furniture. And if you have your own story about how a piece of furniture became part of the family, keep an eye out for an upcoming competition for a chance to win Dhs 50,000 to spend at Interiors.

Great to see Dubai’s latest Beach Club open it doors this week. DRIFT located at One&Only Royal Mirage is a private beach club managed by The Sunset Group, and features a stunning infinity pool, overlooking one Kilometre of prime beachfront offering panoramic views of Palm Island Bay and Dubai’s iconic skyline. We’ve had the pleasure of working on the brand positioning and identity over the past few months, and have recently launched the website.

Small Box. Big Difference.

Formerly known as the Shoebox Appeal the appeal was re-named and re-branded by North55 back in 2011. Since then, each and every year we’ve been proud supporters of the Box Appeal which aims to give essential items to everyday workers less fortunate than us. This year the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group aims to collect more than 20,000 boxes through its Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson Hotels in the UAE. Some of which we’ll be certainly contributing towards.

The Box Appeal is a charity initiative run by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

Colourful language

An interesting morning spent at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel for a colour seminar hosted by Pantone. So many colours, so many tones but the colour of the year for 2017 as chosen by Pantone is Greenery, “a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew”.

FIFA Club World Cup – UAE 2017

We were excited by the recent announcement of yet another major sporting event coming to the UAE, with The FIFA Club World Cup set to be staged in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain later this year, and again in 2018. At the time of writing, there’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing Ronaldo and Real Madrid defending the title they won last year in Japan. 

Needless to say, we were also pretty excited with being selected by FIFA to develop the above-the-line advertising, online and ambient material, and messaging strategy for the tournament too, and are extremely happy with the finished product
